Company generalities and commercial policy
Ours is a family business that over the years has specialized in the cultivation of fresh truffles and their sale. Truffles are found in nature in the land we own in the upper valley of the Sangro river, between Molise and Abruzzo. The company also deals with the creation of food specialties with truffles, condiments, sauces and preserved truffles.
The choice of natural ingredients is enhanced by the professionalism and passion we reserve for the preparation of the products, so that they can be appreciated in all their extraordinary goodness.
These conditions of sale are applied to customers who according to Legislative Decree n. 206 of 2005 can be defined as consumers and make purchases through the online shop store.sulpiziotartufi.it for private use only.
When submitting a purchase order, the customer confirms that he has accepted the present conditions of sale having read them entirely.
Object of the service and of the contract
Through the store site, Azienda Agricola La Spora offers an Internet sales service of preserved and fresh food products mainly based on truffles. The pages of our online shop contain descriptions of all the main characteristics of the products.
The orders that customers place on the site are considered as offers for the purchase of the selected items according to the general conditions of sale present. All orders are subject to the company’s discretion and availability. Users who wish to complete the online purchase procedures must select the items they intend to buy, put them in the cart and carefully consult the information reported in the summary, and then proceed with the payment of the reported amount. Orders are considered to have been placed only after they have been confirmed by the company and payments have been made. The order summary form indicates the amount to be paid, including shipping costs and taxes. Only in the case of cash on delivery is it possible to pay for the goods when they are received.
The receipt of order processing should not be interpreted as acceptance of the order. The contract is concluded when Azienda Agricola La Spora sends the order confirmation to the e-mail address that the user has indicated. The owner has the right not to confirm an order: in this case he will communicate the lack of availability of the product or products by sending an email to the user within 5 working days from the date on which the order was placed.
Availability and prices
Prices are inclusive of VAT and indicated in euros.
The company does everything possible to ensure the availability of the products indicated on the site, but cannot ensure that the items are always available upon receipt of orders. In this case, the user receives an e-mail message and is entitled to a refund of the amount he paid, with a credit on the credit card that was used for the purchase or with a bank transfer.
Terms of payment

In the case of cash on delivery payments, a supplement is required, as specified at the end of the purchase procedure on the site.
Delivery of products and risks
The delivery times indicated are only indicative.
It is up to the customer to check the delivery address that is provided and possibly communicate omissions or errors. The company cannot be held responsible for delays not attributable to it, and undertakes to respect the times indicated on the site, sending the goods within the limits permitted by current law. Deliveries are made to the address that the customer indicates at the time of registration or order.
The nominative or figurative trademarks and logos on the site concerning Azienda Agricola La Spora are protected by the laws in force on trademarks and remain the exclusive property of Azienda Agricola La Spora.
Limitation of Liability
Within the limits of applicable law, the owner is liable for damages to users of a contractual or extra-contractual nature only if they represent a direct and immediate consequence of the store’s activity, for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Right of withdrawal
Customers have the right to withdraw from contracts signed within 14 days from the date on which the products were delivered, without this entailing any penalty and without the need to indicate the reason. Based on the provisions of paragraph 2 of article 55 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for customized or tailor-made products. The same applies to products, such as foodstuffs, which cannot be returned due to the risk of spoilage. The costs of returning the goods remain the responsibility of the customers. In the event that the products are returned complete with all their functions and parts, the full amount that the customer has paid will be returned by Azienda Agricola La Spora within 30 days from the date of receipt of the goods.
The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers, i.e. natural persons who operate not for professional purposes.
Except for food products, customers are entitled to a guarantee on the conformity of the services and products purchased. It extends for 24 months from the date the property was delivered. In order for the warranty right to be exercised, it is necessary that the owner receives the communication relating to the lack of conformity within two months following the date on which it was discovered. The customer is required to send the company an e-mail in which the order number must be specified. Furthermore, the defect must be described accurately: for this purpose it is preferable to also attach photos.
Before users are answered, the company will review and verify all elements. In the event that the lack of conformity of the product is confirmed, it will be the customer’s right to obtain the replacement or repair of the defective product, after it has been returned. If the replacement and repair prove to be too expensive or otherwise impossible, termination of the contract is permitted.
The service is provided “as is”
Azienda Agricola La Spora provides the service “as is”, in the absence of any implicit or explicit guarantees regarding its availability and accuracy.
Shipping and Returns
To ensure that our truffle products arrive fresh to consumers, and in line with the highest quality standards, all shipments are carried out without the intervention of intermediate warehouses from our headquarters in Italy.
Generally the packages are delivered according to the times indicated in the table; shipments are made by express courier from Monday morning to Thursday morning, according to the geographical area, to the address that the customer will have specified during the purchase procedure. Shipping costs include postage and packaging costs.
Customers do not have to pay any additional amount other than what is indicated in the orders. Considering the characteristics of the products, Azienda Agricola La Spora meticulously takes care of the packaging so that transport does not compromise the integrity of the goods. Special attention is paid to the packaging of fresh truffles: for this purpose, methods and techniques are used that guarantee that the product is fresh even when it is delivered to the customer.
